A prequel to the original Dune, it tells the story of how the Sisterhood of Rosak evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The incident with Valya Harkonnen using voice is from one called “Mentats of Dune”. All three books intertwine the development of the Sisterhood, the Mentats, the Navigators, and the Suc Doctors.
No depth, the conversations are sometimes quite unpleasant
I knew it couldn’t be the same quality as the movies, but I didn’t expect it to be so… mediocre. For a moment I thought it was an Amazon production, not HBO.
There’s no real special effect, it feels a bit low budget
For some roles it’s not the right casting choice; not bcs, the actors are bad, but they’re just not right for the role. Too much going on in the first episode and jumping from one scene to another as if they’re in a hurry. Also for some scenes I wonder why they even bothered to make them.
I really hope it gets better
I’m not sure what camera they used, but the shots look too ordinary.
