A prequel to the original Dune, it tells the story of how the Rossak Sisterhood evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The incident with Valya Harkonnen, who uses the voice, is from one called 'Mentats of Dune'. All three books intertwine the development of the Sisterhood, the Mentats, the Navigators, and the Suk Doctor.
So what’s the ‘formula’?
I’ve read and watched a lot of fantasy/sdi-fi in my life and I believe I can immediately recognize a winner, be it The Fifth Element, The Lord of the Rings, Edge of Tomorrow, The Matrix, GOT, or 12 Monkeys. I’ve seen ALL the classics – too many to mention here. It just grabs you and you have to see more!

The plot and characters draw you in, there are a few wonderful surprises, it feels real… I agree that some of the weaker actors aren’t that great… and that it’s unlikely that SwordMASTER is so ridiculously young…
An overall classic production
but overall, the series so far has been insightful, watchable and has a lot of excitement. The "prophecy" element is delicious and I’m seriously looking forward to seeing what happens next.
